General Questions
Fundraising Campaign Questions
This is probably the most frequently asked question we receive. The short answer is “We plan to go back as soon as November 2023, Lord Willing”
Here is the more detailed answer: We plan to go back as early as November, but there are a number of variables to that date. First we need to have 100% our funding in place, to be sent. This includes monthly funding as well as the transition funding. Secondly we need to be ready physically, mentally, and spiritually. Finally, there needs to be a good window of opportunity, which as of now is open.
The main thing holding us back at the moment is funding, which we trust the Lord to provide at the right time, it is a good way that He directs our timing and our path.
Very few people in Uganda have access to a digital device. Even if they do, data is expensive there and internet is unreliable. The primary way people learn there is through print materials.
Uganda as a country is starved for good Christian print materials, and local Christian educational curriculum has not been available until now.

Botswana is a country in southern Africa. It is considered the safest country in Africa at the moment, and there is little to no problems with malaria. The president of Botswana is currently homeschooling his own children, so there is a growing interest in the population. Currently there is not a lot of support for homeschool families in terms of how to do it, and resource materials. We are looking to begin building relationships there to replicate the work in Uganda. Botswana could work as a more long term base for our family in Africa as the ministry grows and continues, Lord willing.
Currently there are 600+ (known to us) families that are actively homeschooling in Uganda.
Homeschooling has become contagious and is spreading into South Sudan and other surrounding countries as well.
